A Baby Naming Ceremony

A Baby Naming Ceremony is a simple ceremony full of joy as this wonderful occasion is celebrated to welcome a new life into the family, the community and to the world.
A ceremony gives an opportunity to welcome, name or simply celebrate this unique and beautiful soul as they begin their life.
You may call it a Naming Ceremony, a Baby Blessing or a Welcome to the World Ceremony. This is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate this new being, express all that you wish for your child in their life ahead, make commitments to him or her as parents, grandparents or Godparents/Support People, and to gather with your community of friends and family who encircle and support your new family.
Children can also be welcomed into their new families to celebrate their adoption and blended families, in all forms, can be celebrated as adults and children create new family identities together and adults take on new parenting roles.
