Capture the moment...

The enduring value of a memorable portrait cannot be overestimated. Children grow up,years pass and all that are left are memories.

  • Arrange the sitting time after your baby has had a nap and has been fed.
  • Bring along several changes of clothing
  • Preferably soft fabrics and plain colours
  • I shall be photographing in colour and black and white /sepia
  • Avoid strong patterns and bright colours
  • Very straight skirts on girls are not great in photographs sitting down

I usually photograph children in their bare feet

Tips for Groups and Families

For colour portraits, select a colour theme that blends well for everyone in the photograph

  • Choose either warm tones (pinks, reds, browns etc) or cooler tones (blue, greens, greys etc)
  • For Black and White portraits….denim and white shirts, navy, black or white looks well
  • If your family memebers are passionate about their hobbies lets do a fun photo reflecting the real you.
